As one of the localities heavily affected by the historic flood when the water level of Cau River rose due to the impact of storm No. 11, up to now, although the water has receded, people in a hamlet in Da Phuc commune have not been able to return to their daily lives.
With the motto "wherever the water recedes, clean up", today (October 17), Hanoi City Police continues to mobilize more than 200 officers and soldiers from units to coordinate with Da Phuc Commune Police, Da Phuc Youth Union, Hanoi City and local people, sectors and organizations to clean and sanitize houses, roads, belongings, assets... in areas where the water has just receded.

Recorded in Ngo Dao village, Da Phuc commune, after the flood, mud, garbage, broken branches... are still lying around in many places. Some routes cannot be used.
Cleaning work encountered many difficulties due to the large amount of mud and mud; the amount of waste, tree branches, and drifting objects remained on a large scale. The strong sunshine made the cleaning work more difficult. However, with a sense of responsibility, officers and soldiers still strive, do not mind hardship, actively support people in cleaning and unblocking sewers, contributing to ensuring environmental sanitation, preventing epidemics and helping people soon stabilize their lives.
Ms. Vu Thi Canh (Hamlet 4, Ngo Dao Village, Da Phuc Commune) was moved when the Hanoi Police soldiers helped clean up. During the cleaning process, the soldiers received a lot of affection from the people; many people brought drinking water and snacks to support the forces on duty.
Ms. Canh said that thanks to the dedicated help of police officers, soldiers and other forces, the people in the village have gradually stabilized their lives, restored their houses and living environment. If there is no help, the cleaning will take many more days, affecting life, she said.
At the same time, in Dong Ngan village (Da Phuc commune), officers and soldiers of the units continue to coordinate with local people to organize rice harvesting and cutting. According to Mr. Nghiem Huu Luan - Head of Dong Ngan village, it is expected that on October 17, rice will be harvested on an area of about 3 hectares in Dong Trong field.
Previously, on October 12, Hanoi City Police mobilized nearly 400 officers and soldiers to Trung Gia commune to help people clean up after the historic flood on October 9.
Despite many difficulties, with their proactiveness, determination and the spirit of "serving the people", the Capital Police force has left a deep impression, spreading a beautiful image of the police officer serving the people.
