On February 25, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department ( Kon Tum Provincial Police) said that the unit had successfully extinguished a major fire in Ngoc Hoi District.
Accordingly, at 6:32 p.m. on February 24, this unit received a report of a fire at a motorbike repair and synthesis shop in Village 2, Dak Kan Commune, Ngoc Hoi District.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized human resources and vehicles to the scene to carry out fire fighting work.
After arriving at the scene, they noticed a large fire, developing strongly beyond the ability to handle, so the authorities mobilized 2 more fire trucks from the Central Team to coordinate.
The large fire broke out, emitting a lot of toxic smoke, officers and soldiers had to persevere and make efforts for many hours to control the fire to prevent it from spreading.
It was not until 11pm on February 24 that the fire was completely extinguished. Currently, Ngoc Hoi District Police are protecting the scene.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
