The 2023-2025 Vietnamese Value Brilliance Contest organized by Saigon Giai Phong newspaper (SGGP) in coordination with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union summarized and awarded prizes.
After 2 years with 4 rounds, the Organizing Committee received more than 600 entries in articles and video clips, presented in many press genres such as reports, notes, reflections, interviews, etc. Of which, 263 works were published on the newspaper ecosystem and the Central Youth Union's social networking platforms, attracting more than 2 million visits.
Journalist Nguyen Khac Van - Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of SGGP newspaper, co-Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, affirmed: "Society has many people who choose to go to work for life, or work hard to make the country famous and the good values of the Vietnamese people famous... The good values that are spread are the idea to start and also the consistent mission of the Vietnamese Value Brilliance contest".
Mr. Tang Huu Phong - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, highly appreciated the humanistic meaning and strong influence of inspirational characters and stories in society: "I am confident that this will create community inspiration, promote beautiful actions, bring better values to our country and people".
Of the hundreds of entries, 32 best works won prizes, including: 1 First Prize (writing prize), 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 26 Encouragement prizes; no First Prize for video clips. The collective award with the most entries was awarded to the Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union with 70 works.
Continuing the journey of spreading good things, the Vietnamese values Brilliance 2025-2026 contest has been officially launched, towards the 101st anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 2525 - June 21, 2026).
On this occasion, SGGP newspaper also held a ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
