On January 14, the Hue City Military Command held a conference to announce the decision to reorganize the Military Command (CHQS) of communes and wards and award decisions to transfer and appoint 40 Commanders of the commune-level CHQS.
At the conference, the City Military Command announced the decisions of the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army on reorganizing the Commune-level Military Command; the decision of the City People's Committee on dismissing officers of the Military Command of 40 communes and wards and the decision of the Military Region Command to transfer and appoint 40 officers to hold the position of Commander of the Commune-level Military Command.
Speaking to direct, Major General Pham Van Dong - Head of the Political Department of Military Region 4 emphasized that the consolidation of organization, staffing and bringing officers to the Commune-level Military Command is a major policy to build a strong local military force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation. At the same time, he requested local Party committees and authorities to create conditions for the Commune and Ward Military Command to operate effectively and successfully complete military and national defense tasks.
Representatives of officials receiving the decision and leaders of the City Military Command expressed their determination to uphold responsibility, quickly get involved in work, do a good job of advising, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety at the grassroots level.
