Implementing the Program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province in 2025", the province aims to complete the construction and repair of 100% of the houses of the beneficiaries by September 30, 2025.
According to Decision No. 620, in 2025, the whole province will have 1,534 households supported to build and repair houses (734 households built newly and 800 households repaired houses).
To effectively implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 197/KH-UBND dated December 24, 2024 to implement the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province. The Provincial Steering Committee launched the Program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province in 2025" to effectively mobilize resources to join hands to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for people.
The Provincial People's Council issued Resolution No. 550/2025/NQ-HDND dated February 18, 2025 stipulating policies to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province. Accordingly, the support level for new construction is 100 million VND/household; the support for repairs is 50 million VND/household.
Implementing the Program to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in 2025, up to this point, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the district level has launched and received over 5.38 billion VND. Of which, Kim Dong district has over 2.52 billion VND; An Thi district has 950 million VND; Phu Cu district has 638 million VND; Hung Yen city has over 429 million VND...
Currently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities are stepping up propaganda and mobilizing people, organizations and businesses to contribute and support the program of Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with the highest capacity; urging agencies and organizations to carry out money transfers according to commitments. At the same time, together with functional sectors and localities, speed up the progress of supporting families according to the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee to start construction and repair of houses to ensure completion progress before September 30.
