To date, Van Giang commune has handed over about 600m of site for construction, while Nghia Tru commune has not yet handed over the site. The contractor has completed the preparation of the concrete component casting yard, bridge girder, input material testing and started site clearance from May 16, 2026.
According to the plan, by May 30, 2026, localities will hand over the entire agricultural land area; by September 30, 2026, the handover of the entire residential land area for project construction will be completed.
For the Ring Road 3.5 construction project (section from DT. 378 to QL. 5), the project has a total length of more than 8km, passing through Van Giang, Nghia Tru and Nhu Quynh communes, with a total investment of more than 1,490 billion VND.
This is a key project of the province in the 2026 - 2030 period, which plays a connecting role with the project to invest in the construction of Ngoc Hoi bridge and approach roads at both ends of the bridge invested by the Hanoi People's Committee. Currently, localities are actively implementing site clearance work.

Through actual inspection and listening to reports, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lai Van Hoan emphasized that these are important transportation projects, with regional connection significance, contributing to promoting urban, industrial and service development of the locality.
He requested units and localities to proactively develop detailed plans, focus on implementing site clearance work, ensuring progress and quality of works according to set requirements.
Regarding the East-West I road project, Mr. Lai Van Hoan requested the construction unit to accelerate the progress, ensuring synchronization with the progress of the PVF stadium construction project; focusing manpower and construction vehicles on the sections that have cleared the ground.
Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 is assigned to take the lead in working with relevant departments, branches, localities and the investor of the PVF stadium project to clearly define the boundaries between the two projects, serving the site clearance of the remaining area. Difficulties and obstacles beyond authority need to be promptly summarized and reported to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and removal.
Regarding the Ring Road 3.5 project, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 together with departments, branches and localities to urgently hand over the agricultural, transportation, and irrigation land area that has been cleared to the construction unit before May 30 to implement the project; and at the same time continue to focus on clearing the remaining sections of the route, coordinating to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process.
