Hung Yen in the top 10 PCI rankings in 2024

    On May 6, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry held a ceremony to announce the 2024 Provincial Competitiveness Index. Hung Yen in the top 10 PCI rankings.

    At the announcement ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Le Huy, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province received the Commemorative Medal of the locality in the top 10 PCIs 2024.

    This is the first year that Hung Yen has entered the top 10 of the PCI rankings including 63 provinces and cities, with 70.18 points. This ranking of Hung Yen reflects the province's efforts to improve the business and investment environment, simplify administrative procedures and attract investment...

    Previously, Hung Yen province ranked 12th in PCI 2023 and 14th in PCI 2022.

    PCI 2024 announced the ranking of localities on the quality of economic management, based on the survey results of nearly 11,000 businesses nationwide. At the same time, vividly reflect the status of the business environment through the assessment of the business community at home and abroad.

    PCI 2024 is the 20th anniversary of the birth of this index and its announcement in Vietnam. At the same time, PCI 2024 will be the final PCI report to fully assess all 63 provinces and cities, before merging provincial-level administrative units under the direction of the Central Government on the arrangement of administrative units and building a model of organizing local government at 2 levels.
