The Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that Vietnam Expressway Technical Services Joint Stock Company (VECE - the expressway management unit) will close part of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway from July 15 to July 30, 2025 to repair the expansion joints on Long Thanh Bridge and the ITS system. Many locations on the 55 km long expressway connecting Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Nai have been fenced off for a month, causing vehicles to limit speed.

Time to repair the expansion joints of the construction unit to block the left side of the bridge (from Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City), while limiting the speed of vehicles passing through this area to ensure safety.

From there, traffic through the above area will be adjusted as follows:

For vehicles traveling in the direction of Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai):

Route 1: Saigon - Dien Bien Phu Bridge - turn right onto National Highway 13 - Binh Trieu Bridge - go straight to National Highway 13 - turn right onto Binh Phuoc - Do Muoi Roundabout - turn left onto Linh Xuan - Hoang Cam - National Highway 1K - Dong Nai Roundabout.

Route 2: Saigon - Mai Chi Tho - Vo Nguyen Giap - Do Muoi - Dong Nai Bridge - Dong Nai River Tunnel.

Route 3: Phu My - Vo Chi Cong Bridge - go straight through Phu Huu - Vo Chi Cong Roundabout - go straight through Lien Phuong Roundabout - turn left on D1 Street - High-Tech Park - turn right on Vo Nguyen Giap - go straight Do Muoi - Dong Nai - Dong Nai Bridge.

Route 4: Phu My - Vo Chi Cong Bridge - turn right My Thuy Roundabout - Nguyen Thi Dinh - end of the road to Cat Lai - Dong Nai ferry.

National Highway 1A traffic direction from Dong Nai Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City:

After the construction unit closes DT743 road to My Phuoc Tan Van (Binh Duong area), vehicles wishing to travel to My Phuoc Tan Van (Binh Duong area) can choose the following alternative routes:

Route 1: Take National Highway 1A to the Vung Tau - Le Van Duyet intersection - An Hao bridge (Dong Nai) - Hoa An bridge - National Highway 1K - My Phuoc Tan Van.

Route 2: Go to Long Thanh - Dau Giay - Ho Chi Minh City Expressway.

Route 3: Vehicles traveling on National Highway 1A - Dong Nai Bridge travel on Tan Van overpass - turn right onto Road No. 3 (Binh An Textile and Garment Industrial Park Gate) - turn right onto DT743 road to My Phuoc Tan Van.

The Traffic Police Department noted that in some cases where traffic incidents cause traffic congestion and congestion on the road, people need to proactively grasp information, regularly update traffic order and safety situations to promptly adjust the travel route, limit traffic in the congested area, causing time loss and affecting traffic flow and handling of congestion by authorities.
