On April 30, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that at the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 1 project, all contractors will work through the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
As for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway component 2 project, Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Construction) also said that it will maintain construction through the ceremony to ensure the project's progress.
At the construction site, contractors are deploying 50 construction teams with about 250 main equipment locomotives and about 400 personnel (including commanders, technical staff, workers, and pilots) participating in the construction.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, nearly 54km long (including 3 component projects), was started in June 2023. Up to now, component project 3 with a length of 19.5km through Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has completed site clearance for technical traffic on April 19. Meanwhile, the progress of the remaining 2 component projects passing through Dong Nai province (about 34.5km) is still slow, especially the relocation of technical infrastructure systems.
In addition to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board also said that the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project is also under construction throughout the ceremony.
Previously, on April 29, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board also issued a document urging contractors to proactively gather materials, equipment, labor and encourage the spirit of officers and employees to carry out construction with the spirit of "3 shifts, 4 teams", "going through holidays, through Tet, through holidays".
In particular, during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, contractors deploy many construction teams, without interruption, urgently constructing to ensure the completion of roadbed and drainage items on the route before the rainy season (before June 1, 2025).
Supervisory consulting units will strengthen inspection and control of construction contractors, strictly handle contractors and individuals who violate.
