On July 22, according to information from Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), the consortium of contractors has mobilized more than 100 personnel and 12 equipment and machinery to the construction site to simultaneously deploy 8 construction points of package 2.10 - Border Guard of Long Thanh International Airport (abbreviated as Long Thanh Airport) outside the scope of 1,810 hectares.
Currently, the contractor is implementing the excavation of the project foundation, the construction of M200 foundation concrete, and the construction of foundation reinforced concrete. The total value of the implemented output is more than 20 billion VND.
The contractor is the Chau Viet - Dai Viet joint venture, with a contract value of more than 78 billion VND; Progress according to the contract, the package was started on October 25, 2024, completed on October 25, 2025.
Previously, the fence within 1,810 hectares of phase 1 of Long Thanh airport (package 2.4) was 100% completed with a length of 7,856 m.
The People's Committee of Dong Nai province has proposed to soon complete the construction of a protective fence for the entire 5,000 ha area of the Long Thanh airport project, with a length of about 30km.
The solution is to build fences around the Long Thanh airport project to prevent re-encroachment after clearing the land.
