Mobilizing fishing boats to rescue stranded boats in Cua Tung

    Quang Tri - Fishing boat and 2 crew members stranded while anchored to avoid the wind in the Cua Tung beach area have been safely rescued.

    On August 22, Cua Tung Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) said that the unit had just coordinated with local forces and fishermen to successfully rescue a fishing boat stranded in the Cua Tung beach area, Cua Tung commune, Quang Tri province.

    At about 1:30 pm on the same day, fishing boat QB92267TS of Mr. Nguyen Van Hai (born in 1980, residing in Hong Duc village, Dong Trach commune, Quang Tri province) in the process of anchoring to avoid wind ran aground, about 150m from the shore.

    The fishing boat is 21.2m long, 830CV capacity, at the time of the incident there were 2 crew members on board.

    Immediately after receiving the news, Cua Tung Border Guard Station sent a working group of 5 officers and soldiers to coordinate with the Military Command of Cua Tung commune to deploy a support plan.

    The forces simultaneously mobilized fishing boats of fishermen in the area to participate in the rescue. After a coordination process, boat QB92267TS was safely removed from the stranded area.
