Ensuring security and order, economic development
According to the People's Committee of Iaiap commune, in 2025, the authorities in the area have done a good job of ensuring security and order, maintaining peace in the border area bordering Cambodia.
During the year, units regularly organize patrols, inspections, and controls of forest products, promptly detect and prevent acts of illegal deforestation, exploitation, trading, processing, and transportation of forest products.
Thereby, 116 people were discovered violating the law. The People's Committee of the commune has compiled statistics on the area of destroyed forests and encroached forest land and made a plan to reclaim them according to regulations.

According to the People's Committee of Ia Lap commune, the natural population growth rate in the area is about 0.49%; down 0.01% over the same period in 2024 and up 0.09% over the 2025 plan. The total number of employees in the commune is currently about 3,200 people.
Major Le Tien Dat - Head of Ia Lap Commune Police - said: "In 2025, the security and order situation in the area will be basically maintained. We always arrange forces to closely monitor the villages and hamlets to minimize the situation of people of working age violating the law.
At the same time, the Commune Police closely coordinated with the Border Guard to control the border, preventing illegal crossings and transportation of prohibited goods".

According to Major Dat, the number of people of working age in the area is quite large, while the rate of poor and near-poor households is still high compared to the general level of the province. If local authorities support people for livelihoods, equip them with essential items, and combine training in animal husbandry and methodical farming, it will bring practical results.
When there is stable employment, people will focus on labor and production, thereby reducing violations of the law. The villages and hamlets with special difficulties will also gradually improve, forming a more civilized lifestyle.

Giving opportunities to people in border areas

Thereby, supporting livelihoods for poor households, near-poor households and newly escaped poverty households of ethnic minorities.

Forms of support include providing plant and animal varieties, livestock, production tools, and agricultural supplies; at the same time, supporting the development of production models suitable to the conditions of each household. livelihood support is implemented publicly, transparently, and to the right beneficiaries, ensuring that people have the conditions to develop long-term production.
Mr. Cao Thanh Hoai - Head of the Department of Culture - Social Affairs of Ia Lap commune - said: "Through combining vocational training with support for livelihood, people's awareness and production thinking have been gradually changed. People not only know how to apply technical advances to production but also proactively calculate costs and choose appropriate economic development models.
Many ethnic minority households, after attending vocational training classes and receiving livelihood support, have boldly expanded production, increased livestock flocks, improved crop productivity, gradually increased income, and stabilized their lives".

If implemented systematically, vocational training and livelihood support will contribute to solving on-site employment, limiting people's violations of the law. Ethnic minority youth and women have more opportunities to learn a trade, develop their family economy, and enhance their role in the community.
Thereby, the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved, contributing to maintaining security, order and social stability in the area.
