The Thuong Cat bridge and road project at both ends of the bridge will start construction on October 8, 2025. The starting point intersects with Ky Vu road, Thuong Cat ward, the ending point of the route intersects with National Highway 23B, Thien Loc commune, with a total length of the entire route of 5.4km.
The total investment of the project is 7, 302 billion VND, of which construction costs are 5,893 billion VND. Implementation time from 2024-2027.
According to Thien Loc Commune People's Committee, the project passing through the commune has a total recovered land area of 17.03 ha, involving 369 households, individuals and 1 organization, including 328 cases of agricultural land and 41 cases of residential land.
To date, site clearance work has basically been completed; on January 31, 2026, 16.49 ha were handed over, reaching 95.54% of the area to be recovered, including 100% of agricultural land, public land, land of organizations and completing the relocation of all graves within the project area.
Regarding residential land, out of a total of 41 affected households, 35 households have been approved for compensation plans, of which 31 households have received money and handed over land. The remaining cases are being further completed, appraised and resolved in accordance with regulations.
According to the plan, households that have received money and handed over the land will carry out demolition and relocation of assets before June 25, 2026.
Regarding the project, some households also requested the government and functional units to continue to pay attention to and create conditions for travel time, support for property gathering places and related policies...
Regarding this matter, representatives of the Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board of Thien Loc commune answered and clarified the provisions of law on compensation, support, and resettlement; and at the same time wished that households continue to agree and coordinate to hand over the site on schedule, contributing to ensuring the project is implemented smoothly.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Tuan, Vice Chairman of Thien Loc Commune People's Committee, affirmed that the Party Committee and government of the commune will continue to direct professional departments and divisions to closely coordinate and promptly remove arising difficulties and obstacles, ensuring the best legitimate rights and interests of the people.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Tuan wished that households would continue to accompany the locality to soon complete site clearance work, serving the implementation of the Thuong Cat bridge and roads at both ends of the bridge according to the plan.
