The People's Committee of Nam Dan district has issued a document requesting the People's Committee of Nghe An province to direct Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company to urgently relocate the water supply infrastructure out of the project area. In fact, other infrastructure items such as lighting, telecommunication cables, tree systems, etc. have been relocated according to regulations. The water supply pipeline is still in the corridor and has not been relocated.
According to the provisions of the granted construction permits, when the traffic expansion works affect the technical infrastructure system, the infrastructure owner must take responsibility for relocation using their own funds within 30 days from the date of notification, and will not be compensated.
Currently, Nam Dan district has reclaimed all agricultural land along National Highway 46 and handed over more than 4/10.9km of site to the investor. Urgently handling the remaining problems, especially the water supply system, is an important condition to ensure project progress and avoid repeating incidents that seriously affect people's lives.
