"The breaking of water pipes greatly affects people's lives, so we have to overcome it urgently. Trying today will supply water back to the people" - the company representative said and added, although it was reminded the construction unit to expand Highway 46 carefully, but the incident still happened.
Earlier, as laborers have informed, the incident occurred in the area of Mau 3 hamlet, Kim Lien commune when the machine scooped up the ground during the renovation and upgrading of National Highway 46, the Vinh - Nam Dan city, causing the water supply pipeline from the broken Bach Cau Water Plant.
The incident caused more than 2,800 households in Kim Lien commune to lose their daily life for the past 3 days. Many households have to buy bottles, ask well water from neighbors or catch rainwater to hold in hot weather.
"The whole neighborhood of nearly 300 households did not have clean water. My family had to catch rainwater to use, very miserable. Hope the parties will soon overcome," said N.D.H - people of Lien Mau 1 hamlet - shared.
The government of Kim Lien commune said that they had contacted the water supply unit to coordinate to handle, while the representative of the Project Management Board 85 (the investor) said that the underground water pipe has not been handed over the ground fully, causing difficulties in construction.
The people of Kim Lien commune are expecting clean water to be granted again in the shortest time.
