On February 6, Mr. Nguyen Anh Son - Deputy Head in charge of the Mineral Department of Ha Tinh Department of Agriculture and Environment - said that the Provincial People's Committee has just approved the results of winning auctions for 7 mineral mines in the area.
Accordingly, the approved mines include: Hill soil mine in Trang Chay mountain area, Son Tien commune, area 5 ha; hill soil mine in Khe Buong area, Duc Dong commune, area 6.64 ha; hill soil mine in Tan Huong 2 area, Duc Dong commune, area 6.95 ha;
Hill soil mine in Nam Phong village area, Dong Loc commune, area 11.54 ha; hill soil mine in Vu Quang commune area, area 7.03 ha; sand mine for construction of Ngan Sau riverbed, Thuong Duc commune, area 6.92 ha; sand mine for construction of Lam riverbed, Bac Hong Linh ward, area 4.5 ha.
The above 7 mineral mines were successfully auctioned on January 15, after which the Ha Tinh Department of Agriculture and Environment completed the dossiers to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the winning auction results.
At the end of December 2025, Ha Tinh province also successfully organized auctions of 8 mineral mines, including 7 filling soil mines and 1 sand mine for ordinary construction materials.
In mid-January 2026, Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee also approved the winning auction results for these 8 mineral mines.

According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Son - Deputy Head of the Department in charge of Minerals Department of Ha Tinh Department of Agriculture and Environment, the fact that the Provincial People's Committee has approved the successful auction results for 15 mineral mines in the area after a few weeks of successful auction organization is quite fast in terms of progress of dossiers and procedures.
The following procedures will continue to be coordinated and implemented by functional units, businesses and related localities so that it is expected that by June 2026, they can be put into mining and supplying construction materials in the area.
The successful auction and the approval of the winning auction results for 15 mineral mines in the area will contribute to meeting the demand for construction materials, especially leveling soil for many large projects being and about to be implemented in Ha Tinh.
Previously, at the end of 2025, Lao Dong Newspaper had an article reflecting the shortage of construction materials, especially leveling soil in Ha Tinh. This has caused some contractors to worry about affecting the progress of some construction projects in the area.
