On the morning of June 25, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee organized a launching ceremony for 90 days of peak site clearance for key and dynamic projects in the province in 2026.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Agriculture and Environment, in this peak period, the Steering Committee for handling obstacles in site clearance for key and dynamic projects will prioritize completing site clearance for nuclear power projects in June; completing resettlement areas serving the North-South high-speed railway project in July.
In August and September 2026, Khanh Hoa province will focus resources to accelerate the progress of site clearance for industrial, transportation, urban, resettlement and other key infrastructure projects.
To achieve this goal, the province will strengthen dialogue, propaganda, and resolve people's petitions right from the grassroots level, limiting the emergence of hot spots and prolonged complex complaints.
At the same time, focus on definitively handling backlog dossiers related to land origin, land prices, and resettlement.
Localities are also required to proactively remove difficulties under their authority, strengthen coordination between investors, site clearance units and local authorities.
Regarding site clearance for the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant project, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - acting Chairman of Phuoc Dinh Commune People's Committee - committed that the locality will mobilize all forces, organize direct dialogue with the people, and make 100% public and transparent the compensation and resettlement plans in order to soon complete the assigned tasks.
Speaking to direct at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - said that the progress of site clearance for some key and dynamic projects is still slow due to many reasons.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that each project must develop a detailed plan on site clearance work; eligible dossiers must be resolved immediately, without prolonged backlog.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards to be responsible for site clearance in the managed area. Land fund development centers and related branches must report on the implementation progress weekly.
Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee also requested departments and branches to proactively handle work, not to let dossiers linger, and not to wait for reminders in handover meetings and reports.
