At the same time, strengthen propaganda to encourage tourists, especially international tourists, not to buy, sell, or transport products from endangered wild animals abroad.
The Provincial People's Committee also emphasized that the act of buying, selling, and processing parts or products from species on the List of endangered, precious, and rare species may be criminally prosecuted according to the provisions of law.
In addition, the Department of Agriculture and Environment strengthens inspections of forest animal farming facilities, strictly manages origins, and applies information technology to trace and promptly detect acts of legalizing animals of illegal origin.
The Department of Industry and Trade is responsible for reviewing e-commerce platforms, removing violating products, and at the same time inspecting business establishments showing signs of serving foreign customers exclusively to prevent illegal trading of wild animals and products of illegal origin.
The Provincial Police are assigned to synchronously deploy professional measures, focusing on fighting lines that take advantage of tourism, trade, investment or e-commerce activities to commit illegal acts. Coordinate with procedural agencies to strictly handle cases to increase deterrence.
For the People's Committees of communes and wards, it is necessary to promote propaganda on social media platforms, launch a movement for the whole people to participate in detecting and denouncing violations related to endangered, precious and rare wild animals.
In particular, review restaurants, accommodation establishments, travel businesses and souvenir shops in the area to promptly detect and handle violations.
Previously, in March 2026, the Investigation Police Agency of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Zhang Senlin (Chinese nationality) for the act of "Violating regulations on protecting endangered, precious and rare animals".
The investigation process determined that the subjects had bought a live Java pangolin, brought it to Hoa Nhan An Restaurant for slaughter and processing to serve customers.
In addition to Zhang Senlin, three related subjects including Vo Thi Diem Kieu, Tran Minh Son and Ho Minh Lap have also been prosecuted for further investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
