Khanh Hoa - In the coming days, hot weather in the area will continue to be maintained, many areas record high temperatures from 35 - 37 degrees C, with some places above 37 degrees C.

On August 4, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station issued a time warning bulletin.

Today and in the coming days, hot weather in the province will continue to be maintained, many areas record high temperatures from 35 - 37 degrees C, with some places above 37 degrees C.

Previously, on August 3, Khanh Hoa experienced widespread hot weather, with hot sun in some mountainous areas. The highest temperature recorded in Ma Noi was 38.6 degrees Celsius, Khanh Trung 38 degrees Celsius, Van Binh 37.8 degrees Celsius. The lowest humidity is commonly from 40 - 50%.

According to forecasts, on August 4 and 5, hot weather will continue to occur on a large scale, locally with intense hot weather in some places. The highest temperature in the day is commonly from 35 - 37 degrees C, in some places higher than 37 degrees C. The relative lowest humidity ranges from 40 - 50%.

The time with temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius is concentrated from about 10 am to 4 pm daily. Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station predicts that the hot spell in the area is likely to last for many days to come.

Specialized agencies warn that prolonged hot weather combined with reduced air humidity increases the risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand, and at the same time poses a potential risk of forest fires in the province.

In addition, hot weather can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke for people who are exposed to high temperatures for a long time.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station also noted that the forecast temperature in hot weather bulletins and the actual perceived outdoor temperature may differ from 2 - 4 degrees Celsius, even higher depending on surface conditions such as concrete or asphalt roads.
