The Southwest monsoon operates with intensity from weak to moderate, from the evening of August 4th with a tendency to strengthen. Above, the subtropical high pressure with a southern branch continues to be maintained but will gradually weaken from August 5th.
Weather pattern forecast from 3-10 days, in the following days, a low pressure trough passing through the North will be more active and connect with the circulation of Typhoon Dolphin. The Southwest monsoon also tends to strengthen, while the southern branch of the subtropical high pressure continues to weaken. At the same time, wind convergence in the Southern region operates more effectively, increasing conditions for rain formation.
Therefore, in the South, the intensity of sunshine tends to increase around noon and early afternoon, causing a feeling of stuffiness. Some areas such as Tay Ninh, Dong Nai and the center of Ho Chi Minh City are likely to experience localized heat.
From August 5th, rain will increase in both scope and amount, mainly appearing in the afternoon and evening. It is noteworthy that in the period from August 6-8th, the Southern region is likely to experience many periods of moderate to heavy rain, with an increasing trend on a large scale.
