On June 28, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province announced the inauguration and official operation of DT 746.
The project has a route length of 11.4 km, a vital route leading to VSIP III Industrial Park, connecting the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang power generation road and Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.
The project has a total investment of VND2,931 billion from the budget, of which the construction and installation cost is VND495 billion, the compensation cost is up to VND2,053 billion and other costs.
The road is designed with a speed of 80 km/h for sections outside the urban area and 50-60 km/h for sections through the urban area. The width of the roadbed is 38 m, arranged for 6 lanes, a median strip, a safety strip and a sidewalk paving road for the section passing through the urban area, the section outside the urban area is covered with a 25 cm thick structure of red gravel.
DT 746 road connects the two northern localities of Binh Duong province, Bac Tan Uyen district and Tan Uyen city. Previously, this route only had 2 lanes, mainly serving the transportation of agricultural products and the circulation of local people. After starting construction of VSIP III Industrial Park, in December 2022, Binh Duong province organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to upgrade and expand DT 746 road, from Tan Thanh intersection, Bac Tan Uyen district to Hoi Nghia intersection, Tan Uyen city.
