At 0:00, it suddenly rained heavily, people standing watching the parade in the Hanoi Station area, Le Duan Street (Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward) hurriedly found shelter under the tarpaulin house.
At that time, a boy about 7 years old had a high fever, was carried by his mother in her arms, panicked and went to a medical area, but had not seen him yet.
Recognizing the emergency situation, Mr. Nguyen Truong Hai - the standing militia of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward, who was on duty to serve the parade, immediately rushed in, hugged the child and ran quickly through the crowd.
While holding the child in his hand, he shouted: "Please give way, the child has a high fever!".

While on duty to serve the parade at Hanoi Railway Station on Le Duan Street, I saw a mother holding her son with signs of high fever and panicking to find a medical facility. I immediately took him to a nearby first aid facility. The doctors measured the temperature and gave the child milk. But the fever had not yet subsided, the child's skin was still yellow, so I took him to the military medical area - where there were doctors and equipment more complete" - Mr. Hai recounted, still under stress.

He said that thanks to medical training, he took the initiative to provide first aid and match the temperature to the baby right when moving.
"In that situation, I just thought of taking my child to the doctor as quickly as possible" - Mr. Hai said.
Ms. Van, the child's mother, emotionally shared: "My son and I took the bus from Ung Hoa to Hanoi to watch the parade. When he left, he had a little fever, I gave him fever-reducing medicine, but when it rained, he had a high fever again. At that time, I was very worried, in the middle of the sea, I didn't know what to do. Fortunately, my child was promptly supported by Mr. Hai and military doctors. I am really grateful.
During the rainy night, the image of young militia hugging the child, running across the sea of people to find life left an unforgettable impression - a beautiful moment in the heart of Hanoi, where humanity spread during the great festival of the nation.
