The bridge is located at the intersection of Le Thai To Street and Trang An Street, Tan Thanh Ward, Hoa Lu City, this is the 5th project the city has held the Inauguration Ceremony and started construction to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030.
The project to build a bridge across Trang An River at the intersection of Le Thai To Street and Trang An Street, Tan Thanh Ward, Hoa Lu City was approved by the City People's Council in Resolution No. 39 dated October 10, 2024 and organized by the City People's Committee to conduct a competition, approving the results of the project's architectural design competition in Decision No. 3187 dated April 14, 2025.
This is one of the city's iconic key projects in the new development stage, gradually completing and connecting the waterway transport network between areas, focusing on Trang An, Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist areas with neighboring areas. Thereby, contributing to the synchronous completion of urban traffic infrastructure, urban drainage, ensuring traffic safety for vehicles, people and tourists, promoting the development of services, tourism, socio-economic development and building Ninh Binh urban area.
The project has a construction investment scale including 2 parallel bridges and is 11.8m apart. The cross-section of a single unit is 16.5m wide (the road surface is 10.5m wide, the railing on both sides is 1m wide, the sidewalk on the one side is 5m wide).
At the location between the two bridge units, there is a pedestrian bridge and a view attic with a cross-section of 7.9m wide (7.1m pedestrian surface + railings on both sides of the bridge are 0.8m wide). The viewing tower is arranged in the middle of the pedestrian bridge with a scale of about 163.84m2 (12.8m x 12.8m).
At both ends of the bridge, an underpass is arranged to connect the pedestrian from the walking path on both sides of the river to the pedestrian bridge and the scenic tower.
The total investment of the project is nearly 180 billion VND from the city budget. Project implementation period: 2024 - 2027.
