The fire broke out at around 8:00 a.m. on December 5 at a mechanical machinery warehouse on Ba Lan Xi Street, Hoa Loi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at that time, people saw smoke and fire rising inside the factory used as a warehouse for mechanical machinery on Ba Lan Xi Street.
People used on-site fire fighting equipment to put out the fire but were unsuccessful. The fire spread quickly, and people had to report to the authorities. Notably, the fire broke out right next to a gas station.
After receiving the news, the functional forces of Hoa Loi ward were dispatched to the scene to coordinate in handling the fire. Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire fighting vehicles to the scene to put out the fire.

The authorities have blocked both ends of Ba Lan Xi Street to prioritize fire trucks to approach the scene to put out the fire. By 8:30 a.m., the authorities had controlled the fire, prevented it from spreading, and did not affect the gas station.
According to records, until nearly 10am the same day, smoke was still rising inside the scene. Fire trucks still sprayed water to completely extinguish the fire.
The cause and damage of the fire are being clarified.
