As of November 21, severe floods in Dak Lak province have killed 27 people, 8 people are missing, and 2 people are injured. Natural disasters also caused particularly large damage, in which about 15,000 houses were submerged in water.

Infrastructure for transportation, education, health care... suffered about VND1,000 billion in damage. Regarding livestock, about 3.2 million livestock and poultry died, causing damage of about 830 billion VND; damage to 127,000 aquaculture cages, 1,000 hectares of brackish water and mollusk shrimp farming area, estimated at 2,000 billion VND; about 18,000 hectares of crops were flooded, damaged, and caused damage of about 1,500 billion VND.

The total estimated damage in the whole province is nearly 5,330 billion VND (excluding assets in the people's families).
