Tran Yen Industrial Park phase I project with a scale of nearly 255ha, total investment of more than 2,184 billion VND, is being accelerated in site clearance to soon deploy synchronous infrastructure.
Tran Yen Industrial Park phase I is built on an area of 254.59ha in Au Lau ward, Lao Cai province (formerly belonging to Bao Hung and Minh Quan communes, Tran Yen district, former Yen Bai province).
The project is invested by Viglacera Corporation - JSC, and is synchronously planned in terms of transportation, electricity supply, water supply and wastewater treatment.

The commencement of the project and many other projects in the province is considered a step to concretize Lao Cai's industrial and logistics service development strategy.
On June 22, actual records showed that the industrial park is located in a favorable location when directly connected to the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, belonging to the Kunming (Yunnan, China) - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic corridor, and also benefits from the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong high-speed railway project being implemented.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Au Lau ward said that after the administrative boundary merger, Au Lau ward has received all land clearance dossiers from the old Tran Yen district to continue implementation.
Identifying this as a key project of the locality and Lao Cai province, the ward has established a Steering Committee for site clearance, maintaining regular meetings to remove arising difficulties.
In the process of implementation, the locality organized more than 20 dialogue conferences with people and 168 thematic meetings related to compensation, support and resettlement.

For the western area, the recovered area is about 109ha, affecting 165 households and organizations.
Up to now, the locality has completed the inventory of 100% of affected households, approved compensation funds of more than 212 billion VND and handed over the land.
Along with that, land allocation and land lease procedures for more than 107.9ha have also been completed to hand over to the investor.
For the Eastern area, the recovered area is more than 145.6ha, affecting 260 households and organizations. To date, the locality has inventoried 250 households, reaching over 96%, and at the same time continues to complete compensation, support and resettlement dossiers.

The appearance of the industrial park after handing over the ground in phase 1 has gradually taken shape. The drainage system and ground are being leveled and built synchronously.
Leaders of Au Lau ward said that the unit aims to complete the site clearance phase 2 of the entire project this year. In parallel with that, the investor has started construction of most items.
When completed, the project is expected to attract many secondary investors at home and abroad, expected to create jobs for tens of thousands of local workers," Mr. Pham Tien Dung shared.
