On the morning of July 2, at the International Convention Center (Hanoi), the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with Dan Tri Newspaper to organize the launching ceremony of the Contest "Learning about the law on road traffic order and safety".
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the contest, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha said that this is an event of practical significance, demonstrating the concern of the Government and the whole society for ensuring traffic order and safety, contributing to building a civilized and safe society.
The contest is organized to effectively implement related legal documents with the aim of raising legal awareness and compliance with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety for all classes of people, especially the younger generation, workers and laborers.
According to the Deputy Minister, the contest will take place for 3 months, from July 1 to September 30, divided into 3 exams.

The contest content not only revolves around multiple-choice questions and practical situations related to the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 and guiding documents for implementation, but also encourages participants to propose solutions to ensure road traffic order and safety, demonstrating the proactiveness and creativity of each individual in contributing to the overall development of society.
"This is a very important highlight, because we hope that people will grasp the law and become creators and contributors of ideas to improve traffic safety" - the Deputy Minister emphasized.
Major General Nguyen Van Mung - Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) commented: The contest is not only a playground but also a strong message to the whole society.
This contest is organized on a digital platform, creating conditions for people in all regions, especially young people, students, etc., to easily access. This is a form of innovation in legal dissemination, flexible, practical and effective in the current digital transformation era.
"I call on organizations, schools, families, especially students to actively participate in the contest, turning legal knowledge into specific actions, turning the slogan "traffic safety is the happiness of every family" into a reality on every road and street corner" - Major General Nguyen Van Mung suggested.
The prize structure of the contest will include 1 First Prize worth 20 million VND; 3 Second Prizes worth 15 million VND/tournament; 5 Third Prizes worth 10 million VND/tournament; 15 Encouragement Prizes worth 5 million VND/tournament; along with secondary prizes for excellent entries in the competitions.
The competition's closing and awarding ceremony is expected to be held in the fourth quarter of 2025.
