Information from the Traffic Police Department of Bac Ninh Provincial Police said that at 11:10 am on March 1, 2026, during patrols to ensure traffic order and safety serving the festival at Lim Pagoda (Tien Du commune, Bac Ninh province), the Traffic Police Team in Tien Du area discovered a woman standing next to a locked car, showing signs of panic and begging for help.
Through initial verification, the woman is Ms. N.C.G (born in 1976), residing in Hanoi. Checking the situation, functional forces determined that inside the car there was a child born in 2023 trapped.
According to Ms. G., due to carelessness in leaving the key in the car when going out for a short time, the car door was locked, causing the child to be in the car compartment closed.
At the time of the incident, the festival area was crowded with people, the weather was hot and humid. In closed car conditions, the temperature in the cabin could increase rapidly; young children trapped are at risk of heat shock if not treated promptly.
Determining the emergency nature of the situation, the Tien Du Traffic Police Team quickly deployed approach measures and decided to break the car door to take the child out as soon as possible.
After opening the door, the baby was safely taken out. Through initial checks, the baby's health was stable.
The incident was handled promptly, ensuring safety for the child and not affecting the traffic order and safety situation in the festival area.
