On the evening of May 12, Ms. Tran Thi Thoa - Vice Chairwoman of Ninh Gia Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong) said that a house fire had just occurred in the area, causing great property damage.
Fortunately, functional forces promptly controlled the fire, preventing it from spreading and causing no casualties.
Previously, at about 4:20 pm on the same day, people discovered fire and black smoke rising from the 2nd floor of the house of Ms. Vu Thi Phuong's family in Ninh Hoa village, Ninh Gia commune.
People quickly shouted for people in the house to escape, and at the same time used on-site vehicles to put out the fire and report to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the news, Ninh Gia Commune People's Committee mobilized forces to coordinate with the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Area 2 (Lam Dong Police) to dispatch 2 fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to the scene to control the fire.
Officers and soldiers of Regiment 994, Ninh Gia Commune Military Command and Commune Police have supported the family to move property out of the fire area.
After more than 30 minutes of effort, the fire was completely controlled, preventing it from spreading to neighboring houses.
The fire burned down many assets and belongings on the 2nd floor of a house of about 80m2.
In the evening of the same day, functional forces continued to support the family to overcome the consequences, statistics of damage and investigate the cause of the fire.
Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
