The project to repair, renovate, and upgrade Muong Te, Nam Nhun, and Sin Ho martyrs' cemeteries was approved by the Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee according to Decision No. 619/QD-UBND dated April 3, 2026.
This project belongs to Group C, with a total investment of more than 19.1 billion VND invested by the Department of Home Affairs of Lai Chau province.
According to the reporter's investigation, the Lai Chau Provincial Department of Home Affairs recently issued a bidding invitation notice for "Package No. 04: Construction and installation" of the project.
Package No. 04 was widely bid through the network, with a value of more than 17 billion VND from regular budget expenditures at the provincial level and other legal capital sources (if any).
In the near future, after having the contractor selection results for the above-mentioned construction package, the contractor will repair, renovate, and upgrade the martyrs' cemeteries: Muong Te in Bum To commune; Nam Nhun in Nam Hang commune; Sin Ho in Sin Ho commune.
For Muong Te Martyrs' Cemetery, the contractor will deploy the following items: Renovation of martyrs' graves; renovation of earth god - earth land incense sticks; renovation of the memorial; construction of a new cemetery management house; renovation and cleaning of the campus; renovation and repair of gates and fences; construction of parking lots.
For Nam Nhun Martyrs' Cemetery, the items include: Renovation of martyrs' graves; new construction of stele houses; new construction of bell houses; renovation of earth god - earth land incense plants; repair and renovation of gates and fences; new construction of additional fences; ground cleaning.
For Sin Ho Martyrs' Cemetery, the items include: Renovation of martyrs' graves; new construction of the cemetery management house; new construction of the bell tower; renovation of the Earth God - Earth Demon; new installation of ceremonial tables, incense burners and memorials; repair and renovation of gates and fences; renovation and cleaning of the campus; supplementation of auxiliary items; construction of access roads, parking lots, water supply roads; construction of earthen embankments and fences in the cemetery management area.
The implementation progress for the entire bidding package is 210 days (including holidays and Tet holidays).
The project's objective is to invest in repairing and upgrading martyrs' cemeteries in Bum To, Nam Hang, and Sin Ho communes to ensure regular management and care, thoroughly overcome degradation, synchronously complete construction items, and ensure full functional use.
Thereby, expressing the concern, responsibility and deep gratitude of the Party, State, Party committees, authorities at all levels and people of Lai Chau province for the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation.
