Lai Chau finalizes the date of announcing key personnel for 38 new communes and wards

Lai Chau - The province will organize a conference to announce the key positions of 38 new communes and wards after the arrangement of administrative units (ADUs) at the commune level.

Recently, Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to implement the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of the province.

Accordingly, on June 30, a conference will be held and Resolution No. 1670/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee will be announced; the decision of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on ending the activities of the old district and commune-level Party Committees; the decision to establish the Party Committees of communes and wards (new).

Also on June 30, the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the leadership positions according to regulations will be announced; the resolution to appoint the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Heads of the Committees of the People's Council; the resolution to appoint the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level formed after the arrangement; the decision of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level.

According to Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee, the process of arranging administrative units at the new commune and ward levels ensures smooth, synchronous, effective operation, no interruption of work, no vacant areas, fields, no impact on the normal operations of agencies, organizations, enterprises and people.

After the arrangement, Lai Chau province has 38 commune-level administrative units, including 36 communes and 2 wards; of which 34 communes and 2 wards formed after the arrangement and 2 communes that do not implement the arrangement are Mu Ca commune, Ta Tong commune.

The wards include: Tan Phong, Doan Ket.

The communes include: Muong Kim, Khoen On, Than Uyen, Muong Than, Pac Ta, Nam So, Tan Uyen, Muong Khoa, Ban Bo, Binh Lu, Ta Leng, Khun Ha, Sin Suoi Ho, Phong Tho, Dao San, Si Lo Lau, Khong Lao, Tua Sin Chai, Sin Ho, Hong Thu, Nam Tam, Pu Sam Cap, Nam Cuoi, Nam Ma, Le Loi, Nam Hang, Muong Mo, Hua Tr Tr Trieu, Tr Tr Trieu Hoa, Bum To, Muong Te, Thu Lum, Pa Trieu, Mu Ca, Ta Tong.
