The "gasoline to electricity exchange" experience activity will be a notable highlight at the "Green Transformation Day 2026" program organized by Lao Dong Newspaper on May 16, at Cau Giay Park, with the companionship of VinFast Thu Anh.
Not only is it a technology introduction activity, the program also aims to spread the message of sustainable development, promote the trend of using green vehicles and reducing emissions in the community.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc (32 years old, Tay Mo ward, Hanoi): "I am quite waiting for this event because this is not only an exhibition activity but people can also directly test drive electric vehicles and learn about the "gasoline to electricity exchange" policy.
I am also considering switching to electric vehicles to save fuel costs and be more environmentally friendly, but still want to experience reality before deciding. I think programs like this will help people have more information and be more confident when switching to green vehicles.
Ms. Tran Thu Huong (23 years old, Cau Giay ward, Hanoi): "I find Green Transition Day 2026 very attractive because it has both green technology experience activities and artistic exchanges, so it is suitable for many participants. I am particularly interested in the "gasoline to electricity exchange" activity because the trend of using electric vehicles is increasingly popular in Hanoi, I am also hesitant to choose car lines. If there are many good support policies, surely more young people will choose green vehicles to contribute to reducing environmental pollution.
According to the plan, the experience area is located at the entrance to Cau Giay Park with a total space of about 60m x 11m, including an electric vehicle display area, a "gasoline and electricity exchange" consulting area, a vehicle valuation area and an electric vehicle test drive area.

Representatives of the accompanying unit said that the activity is being implemented in the context of green transformation becoming an urgent requirement in the face of the increasingly serious impacts of environmental pollution and climate change. "Our green planet Earth is suffering many damages," the program document stated the overarching message of the event.
In the experience area, people will directly visit VinFast electric motorbike lines, learn about operating technology and participate in trial driving in a separately designed space. The trial driving area is about 24m long, arranged with registration area, waiting area for experience, starting and ending points to ensure a safe operating process.
The organizers said that participants in the experience need to have a driver's license, fill in personal information and sign a commitment before test driving. Throughout the experience process, the technical team will directly monitor and support to ensure safety for participants.
In addition to test driving activities, the "gasoline-to-electricity exchange" area will also advise on policies to support people to switch from fossil fuel vehicles to environmentally friendly electric vehicles. This is considered one of the direct interactive activities to promote changes in green consumption behavior in the community.

According to the Organizing Committee, "Green Transition Day 2026" will contribute to promoting Vietnam's efforts in implementing its commitment to net zero emissions by 2050.
Through a series of practical experience activities, the event is expected to help people get closer to green transportation solutions, thereby forming sustainable consumption habits and raising awareness of environmental protection in daily life.
