According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the unit has just sent a working group to Champasak province (Laos) to survey and evaluate the cooperation program in the field of agricultural production between the two localities.
The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province.
In recent times, Lam Dong province has organized many training sessions and transferred science and technology on seedling production and cultivation of crops such as vegetables, avocado, passion fruit, and durian to technical staff and farmers in Champasak province.

Lam Dong officers and engineers directly guided the management and organization of the Paksong Breeding Station; at the same time, surveyed and provided technical advice on vegetable and fruit growing models in the area.
In addition, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province has supported nearly 130kg of Da Lat vegetable and flower seeds for Champasak to build high-tech agricultural models.


With this support, the agricultural sector of Champasak province has initially achieved positive results. On that basis, Champasak province proposed that Lam Dong continue to pay attention and support in the coming period through training on safety production techniques, comprehensive disease management, application of high technology; sharing experiences in plant variety production, supporting vegetable and flower varieties; and connecting businesses of the two provinces in production, distribution and promotion of agricultural products.
Regarding facilities, Champasak province also proposed that Lam Dong province support the construction of 2 greenhouses to serve the production of industrial plant varieties and fruit trees.
