According to statistics from the Lam Dong Provincial Civil Defense Command, during the above 2 days, some localities experienced heavy rain such as: Thuan Hoa Commune 181mm, Ham Thanh Commune 116mm, Tan Lap Commune 101mm, Tan Phuoc Commune 99mm...
Notably, on October 27, teacher Nguyen Thi Hong Bao Han (born in 1999, teacher at Ka Do 2 Primary School, D'ran commune) was swept away by water. The female teacher's body was found by local authorities at around 4am on October 28.

Due to heavy rain, at least 92 houses in Lam Dong province were flooded from 0.5-1 meters deep.
In addition, in D'ran commune, Hiep Thanh commune, the locality is conducting statistics on damage caused by heavy rain.
Regarding agriculture, Lam Dong province has had over 700 hectares of agricultural crops such as dragon fruit, rice, and vegetables flooded, causing billions of dong in damage.

In particular, the area of dragon fruit in the old Binh Thuan province was flooded for more than 100 hectares in Ham Thuan, Ham Lien, Ham Kiem, Tuyen Quang communes...
In Ham Thanh commune, landslides have occurred on the Linh river bank, threatening to affect 100 households, deeply flooding in spillways, isolating about 781 households.
Heavy rain caused high flooding, also causing National Highway 28B to have a landslide, causing traffic congestion and water overflowing the road, making traffic difficult.

According to statistics from the functional sector, the total damage caused by heavy rain is estimated at about 4.5 billion VND by the evening of October 27. Currently, localities are continuing to review and summarize the damage situation.
Faced with the complicated developments caused by heavy rain, flooding and landslides in many localities, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has issued a document directing departments, branches and local authorities to proactively respond to heavy rain.
At the same time, focus on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
Accordingly, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested agencies and units to directly go to the localities to grasp the situation.
