On May 28, the Department of Home Affairs of Lam Dong province said that it had requested the Provincial Labor Federation, the Department of Health and the Department of Construction to send members to participate in the provincial-level occupational accident investigation team for 3 recent occupational accidents in the area.
The first incident occurred at about 8:30 am on May 17 at the Song Ca Ty Apartment Building project in Quarter 6, Binh Thuan Ward. The victim was Mr. N.V.N (born in 2003), a concrete drilling worker to connect electricity at substation T3, who was electrocuted to death while working.
The second incident occurred at about 9 am on May 16 at the Dong Tan brick kiln in An Binh village, Tan Lap commune. The victim was Ms. T.T. C. H (born 1988), who died from electric shock while working.
The third incident occurred at about 4:30 pm on April 28 at the kindergarten construction site in Ka Rai 1 village, Quang Lap commune. Mr. N.V.T (born 1981) was hit by a falling concrete block and died at the scene.
According to the Department of Home Affairs of Lam Dong province, after departments and branches send members to participate, the unit will establish a provincial-level occupational accident investigation team to investigate cases according to regulations.
In addition to the above 3 cases, the Department of Home Affairs of Lam Dong province is also completing the investigation dossier of the labor accident that occurred on January 13 at Phong Phu stone mine - Phong Phu Stone Mining Enterprise in hamlet 1, Tuy Phong commune, causing Mr. N.T. C (born 1988), a worker of Mien Nam Mining Service Co., Ltd., to die.
Regarding this case, the investigation team will approve the labor accident investigation record on May 29 to complete the dossier, as a basis for resolving benefits for the victim's relatives according to legal regulations.
