In the early morning of January 14, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police handed over the body of the male worker to relatives to take home for funeral arrangements.
According to initial information from Tuy Phong Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong province), on the afternoon of January 13, Tuy Phong Commune Police received information from Binh Thuan Ward Police (Lam Dong province) about the case of Mr. N.C.C (born 1988, residing in Phu Tho province) who died at Binh Thuan General Hospital.
This worker died after working at a quarry in Tuy Phong commune.
Upon receiving the information, Tuy Phong Commune Police sent forces to Phong Phu quarry in hamlet 1 to verify and clarify.
The police took statements from people who knew about the incident and inspected the scene where the suspected labor accident occurred.
It is known that Mr. C worked as a worker for a mining company and was hired to work at this stone mine.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police and professional units have examined the scene and requested an autopsy to investigate and clarify the case.
After the police completed the procedures, the victim's body was handed over to relatives to take to their hometown for funeral arrangements.
