Lam Dong has just issued a plan to respond to natural disasters including heat, drought, floods, storms and many other risks.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just issued a motto for disaster response according to risk levels in the province.

Accordingly, the principle of natural disaster prevention is prevention, proactiveness, timely response, urgent and effective recovery after natural disasters.

Respond to natural disasters according to the four-in-the-fact motto. The response needs to ensure the safety of life and property, protect production and minimize damage caused by natural disasters.

In case of an epidemic after a natural disaster, the additional response motto of the health sector will be applied according to regulations.

The locality has developed response plans for different types of natural disasters corresponding to the disaster risk levels.

With types of natural disasters and possible risks, the province will be responded to with appropriate measures including:

Respond to hot and dry weather; respond to thunderstorms, whirlwinds, lightning, hail; respond to heavy rain, floods, storms, tropical depressions; flash floods, landslides, land subsidence due to floods or water flow...
