On January 11, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that at the end of the first year after the merger, the total export turnover of goods in the whole province reached nearly 3,235 million USD, exceeding the set plan of 3,232 million USD and increasing by nearly 15% compared to 2024.

Notably, most of the province's key export items continued to record an increase compared to the same period, such as alumin and aluminum hydroxide increased by 13.56%; coffee beans increased by 31.46%; footwear of all kinds increased by 61.63%; cashew nuts increased by more than 60%; garments and textile materials increased by 10.58%.
Some goods with local advantages such as fresh flowers, vegetables, tubers, fruits, rubber... also showed a fairly high increase.

Entering 2026, Lam Dong's goods exports strive to complete the target of 3,590 million USD, equivalent to an increase of 10.97% compared to 2025, thereby maintaining a double-digit growth momentum.
Growth expectations are mainly placed on key export items of the province, including alumin and aluminum hydroxide (target 700 million USD), coffee beans (650 million USD), garments and textile materials (471.2 million USD), cashew nuts (350 million USD).
In addition, the locality also sets targets for some items with relatively large export turnover such as seafood (224.6 million USD), footwear of all kinds (213 million USD), vegetables - tubers - fruits of all kinds (172 million USD), pepper (115 million USD), fresh flowers of all kinds (nearly 100 million USD).

For specialty fruit groups, in addition to durian and dragon fruit, Lam Dong also has the potential to export avocados. Recently, a business established in 2024 in Nam Ban commune (Lam Ha district) said that each year the unit supplies about 4,000 tons of fresh avocados and 200 tons of frozen avocados to the market.
In which, avocado exports account for about 70% of total output, with the main markets being Cambodia, Thailand (fresh avocado) and Libya (frozen avocado).
According to the Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade, the province's goods have currently been exported to 56 countries and territories, with about 200 businesses participating in export activities.
Over the past time, the Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade has always paid attention to implementing solutions to support local businesses to promote exports and improve economic efficiency.
In which, promptly grasp the situation when the United States applies a 20% countervailing tax rate to propose and recommend to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to remove difficulties and obstacles, and support production and business activities, import and export of enterprises.
In addition, functional sectors strengthen the provision of information about trade promotion programs abroad, international fairs, as well as market information for each industry.
Thereby, providing practical support for businesses in accessing markets, focusing on exporting key industries of Lam Dong to key and potential markets.

Towards completing the 2026 target, localities and functional sectors will synchronously implement solutions to promote exports, especially for high-value goods, key products, and advantages of the province.
Along with that, the province will coordinate with Vietnamese Trade Offices abroad to connect trade and promote the Lam Dong brand to the international market.
