On June 7, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of Steering Committee 515 of Lam Dong province said that the whole province currently has 4,845 unidentified martyrs' graves at 11/12 martyrs' cemeteries in the area.

According to the plan, these graves will be sampled for biological products to serve DNA testing and identify martyrs.
Steering Committee 515 of Lam Dong province said that the work of taking samples, preserving, temporarily storing, digitizing and updating data on the martyr remains sample information management software is being strictly implemented.
All biological samples are guaranteed to be in accordance with technical procedures, without any errors or cross-infection of samples.
The excavation, sampling and restoration of the graves are carried out carefully, ensuring solemnity, expressing gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
At the task deployment meeting, localities and units proposed many contents related to the organization of sampling, digital equipment, sample preservation areas and implementation funding sources.
Speaking to direct, Mr. Dinh Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested working groups to urgently develop specific plans and deploy them synchronously in localities based on experience from previous implementation phases.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan emphasized that the process of taking samples, digitizing and handing over samples of martyrs' remains must ensure absolute safety, in accordance with procedures, and not cause errors.
Localities need to promote propaganda and mobilize people to provide information to serve the work of appraisal and identifying martyrs.
Steering Committee 515 of Lam Dong province aims to complete the sampling, digitization and handover of martyr remains samples for DNA testing before November 15, 2026.
The synchronous deployment at 11 martyrs' cemeteries is part of the "Operation 500 days and nights to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains", contributing to gradually finding the names of martyrs who have not yet been identified.
