Lam Dong - In 2025, the locality aims to abolish 966 temporary houses and dilapidated houses for poor and near -poor households.

On April 15, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province issued a letter to direct the implementation of the program of erasing temporary houses and dilapidated houses in the area.

Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned and coordinated with departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts and cities to complete the program before September 30.

The duties of the Department of Agriculture and Environment include: Advising the Provincial People's Committee to report to the strengthening of the Steering Committee for eradication of temporary houses; urge and solve difficulties at the grassroots level and report to the Provincial People's Committee; Update daily results.

The Department is also responsible for coordinating with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to build houses for people with meritorious services. Mobilizing support resources, ensuring the use of funds for the right purpose and strengthening the inspection and supervision of progress.

The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the People's Committees of districts to accelerate the implementation of project 1 under the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

In 2025 plan, Lam Dong will erase 966 temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near -poor households (newly built 740 units, repair 226 units).

Localities with many households need support include: Dam Rong district (258 units), Di Linh district (221 units), Bao Lam district (150 units), Da Huoai district (133 units) ...

In 2024, Lam Dong completed the plan to delete 1,004 temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near -poor households. In particular, 850 newly built apartments, the rest is repaired.
