Clarifying the fire at a waste treatment environmental company in Ho Chi Minh City

    HCMC - The police are verifying the fire that occurred at an environmental company treating waste in Tan Hiep ward.

    On the afternoon of August 15, units under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police extinguished the fire at V.X Environmental Production, Trading and Service Company Limited in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Tan Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

    The fire broke out at around 2:00 p.m. the same day in the cancel area of a factory of thousands of square meters.

    About 10 specialized fire trucks and dozens of soldiers were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire.

    At around 2:40 p.m., the fire was controlled, then the authorities proceeded to completely extinguish the fire.

    At the scene, the burned area was about 1,500 square meters. The main fuel is scrap, plastic, garbage, foam foam...

    According to the report, the fire did not cause any human casualties. Currently, the police are counting the damage and verifying the cause of the fire.

    It is known that the above company specializes in environmental services. This enterprise operates in the service of collecting, transporting, storing, and treating (destroying, recycling) industrial waste and hazardous waste.
