Lang Son - 175,400m2 of forest land was converted to implement the Cargo Transit Area Project in Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone.

On September 18, the People's Committee of Lang Son province issued a decision on changing the purpose of forest use to another purpose to implement the Goods Transit Area Project in the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone.

Accordingly, the purpose of using a total area of ​​17,540 hectares of planted forests, originally production forests, will be changed to other purposes.

Location of forest for change of purpose at lots 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 17, 26, 27, 33, 35, 39, 40, 42, 45, 46, 50, Block 7, Sub-area 288-CL, Thuy Hung commune; lots 2, 6, 7, 10, 12, 16, 17, Block 2; lots 1, 2, 8, 12, Block 3; lots 3, 5, 12, 13, 27, Block 4, Sub-area 296-CL, Phu Xa commune, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province.

The scope, boundary, area, forest type, forest origin and current forest status data for the decision to change forest use purposes to other purposes according to the area and current forest status have been decided by the People's Council of Lang Son province in Resolution No. 35/NQ-HDND dated July 23, 2024.

The Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Cargo Transit Project is built on a land area of ​​143.7 hectares, located in Thuy Hung and Phu Xa communes, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province. The North borders National Highway 1B; the South borders Na Pai village; the East borders National Highway 1A; the West borders Hanoi - Dong Dang railway and Thuy Hung stream.

With a total investment of more than VND 3,200 billion, the project includes transit and logistics services such as: Regular container yard and refrigerated container yard; Bulk cargo warehouse, cold storage; Import-export support services; Bonded warehouse, temporary import and re-export storage; Customs inspection and storage area; Vietnam - China vehicle transit yard.

In addition, the project also has other value-added services such as: Container repair workshop, car repair, car wash, gas station; Classification, packaging, labeling of goods; Food processing and canning, small production; Hotels and accommodation, restaurants, entertainment; Office for rent: banks, logistics companies, supermarkets...; Product display; Goods exhibition; Railway station warehouse.
