According to VNA, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel has just sent a notice to the Vietnamese community in the host country, saying that on the morning of June 17, Iran simultaneously launched 20 ballistic missiles at Israel, marking a transition to a daytime attack strategy, which could increase the risk of casualties and damage.
Central and northern regions of Israel continue to be in the danger zone as the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to escalate.
In the face of the increasingly likely deterioration in security, a number of foreign embassies in Israel (including China, the US, Russia, etc.) have called on citizens to proactively find ways to return home or leave for a third country, especially recommending the use of road border gates to Jordan or Egypt.
Currently, Israeli airspace is still closed and international commercial flights cannot be resumed in the near future.
Based on the actual situation and to ensure the safety of life and property for Vietnamese citizens in Israel, the Vietnamese Embassy informs our people and recommends as follows:
1. Proactively prepare and seek to leave Israel through the road border gate, especially towards Jordan or Egypt, when security and safety conditions allow. People are advised to stay calm and closely monitor Vietnamese community information groups to update specific instructions.
2. Register your wish to leave Israel to return to Vietnam or to a third country via the Google Form provided by the Embassy in the link
https://docs.google.com/.../1GZ5z02vFwGWJeCMKXw5mNtx.../edit
The registration information will help the Embassy make a list, summarize needs and coordinate with the authorities of Israel and Vietnam, ambitions of countries in Israel and Vietnam abroad to coordinate in developing appropriate support plans for each group of subjects, each time and depending on the development of the situation.
Registration deadline: Until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
3. Continue to strictly comply with local security regulations, prepare all necessary items ( individual documents, medicine, food, spare batteries, etc.) to be able to evacuate and temporarily avoid in a short time in case the damaged house cannot continue to stay.
4. Keep in touch with the Embassy regularly.
