On August 19, according to Decision No. 1509/QD-UBND, the project was implemented in the section from the area in front of the Children's Cultural Palace to the front of Newcentury restaurant, Tam Thanh ward, Lang Son province.
The project has a land recovery scope of about 9,156m2, of which the area according to the detailed plan is about 7,626m2.
The main items include car and motorbike parking areas; traffic system, sidewalks and green trees; two assembled security posts; a public toilet; lawns and landscape areas.
The project is also synchronously invested in lighting, water supply, drainage, fire prevention and fighting and traffic safety assurance items.
Some existing works such as parking lots, stone yards, entrances and related infrastructure will be kept and utilized to save costs, limit impact on the landscape and ensure synchronization with Phai Loan Lake campus.
According to Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, the project aims to meet the parking needs at public works, central areas as well as serve cultural, tourism and commercial activities in the area.
The formation of a green park combined with a parking lot also helps expand the view of Phai Loan Lake, increase public space, improve the living environment and urban aesthetics.
The project belongs to group C project, level IV technical infrastructure, with a total investment of 68.882 billion VND, using public investment capital from the provincial budget in the period 2026-2030.
The investment preparation phase is implemented from December 2025 to the end of the third quarter of 2026. The investment deployment phase is expected to start from the fourth quarter of 2026 and be completed in 2028.
The Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is assigned to manage the project, coordinate with relevant agencies to carry out the next procedures according to regulations. The Departments of Finance, Agriculture and Environment, and Construction are responsible for inspecting and supervising the implementation process.
