The Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee requested local authorities to urgently direct forces to participate in supporting households to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives as soon as possible. Organize visits, encourage, and promptly resolve arising difficulties of affected households. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune reviewed the families whose houses were completely collapsed to promptly support their houses.

As Lao Dong reported, on the morning of July 28, in Nha Lau 2 and Xeo Dung hamlets, Ninh Thanh Loi commune, thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes occurred, damaging 22 houses, of which 5 houses completely collapsed and 17 houses had their roofs blown off. The natural disaster suddenly hit many households without time to react, seriously affecting their lives and daily activities.
