On July 27, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee informed that the unit had just issued a document requesting departments, branches, and localities to synchronously deploy the management, arrangement, and handling of redundant houses and land in the area, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and improving the efficiency of using public assets.
Accordingly, agencies and units must review the current status, complete legal documents, and develop plans to handle each facility of houses and land.
At the same time, prioritize converting functions to serve education, health, culture, public works and socio-economic development in accordance with planning.

The Provincial People's Committee requests to complete the transfer of house and land facilities before August 31, 2026, and complete land allocation and land lease before November 30, 2020.
Heads of agencies and units are responsible if loss, waste or misuse of assets occurs.
The Department of Finance is assigned to monitor, urge, and inspect the progress of handling redundant houses and land; relevant departments and branches coordinate to remove obstacles in planning and land, ensuring the arrangement and handling of public assets on schedule and in accordance with regulations.
