Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has just announced a plan to divert and regulate traffic on some roads in Yen Bai ward to serve the activities of the Lao Cai Provincial Investment Promotion Conference in 2026.
Accordingly, traffic diversion is carried out on Dien Bien road (section from the State Bank of Lao Cai province to the Km5 roundabout) and the area of Tran Phu road intersecting with Hao Gia pedestrian street.
Application time is from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM on July 15th and from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM on July 16th.
During this time, vehicles are guided to travel in two alternative directions including the Dien Bien - Tran Phu - Au Co route and vice versa; or the Dinh Tien Hoang - Yen Ninh - Tran Quoc Toan route and vice versa.
The Provincial People's Committee requests agencies, units and people to proactively choose appropriate routes, limit traffic through the traffic diversion area during the above time frame to reduce congestion and create favorable conditions for the organization of conferences.
At the same time, the Provincial Police are assigned to direct the Traffic Police Department and functional forces to arrange officers and soldiers to organize traffic diversion, guidance, and regulation of traffic according to the time and route, ensuring safety, smooth traffic, and not affecting the activities of the Lao Cai Provincial Investment Promotion Conference in 2026.
The Lao Cai Provincial Investment Promotion Conference 2026 is expected to take place on July 16 and 17. Regarding the seminar "Lao Cai - A place of convergence of Northwest colors" co-organized by the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee and Lao Dong Newspaper, the list of delegates to attend has now been completed with about 80 - 100 people.
