On June 26, Ha Nam Provincial Police informed that since the beginning of 2024, Ha Nam Provincial Police have proposed and approved the project "Purchasing equipment to serve digital transformation and Project 06 in the Provincial Police force for the period 2024 - 2025, with a vision to 2030". Including investment in equipping a new security and order surveillance camera system (ANTT), handling violations of traffic safety and order applying AI technology, and centralized management of the Provincial Police Command Information Center unit according to the model of the Ministry of Public Security.
With more than 130 cameras, Ha Nam Provincial Police have deployed installation at 129 locations including main roads and important intersections such as: roundabouts, intersections, and intersections with traffic light systems.
The camera system uses advanced AI technology, allowing smart identification and searching along with outstanding features to help track subjects; detecting and recording traffic violations, including: running red lights, driving in the wrong lane, violating speed, not wearing helmets, carrying more people than prescribed...
According to the police, after a period of implementation, the Provincial Police have completed the installation and prepared to put into use the security and order surveillance camera system and handle violations of road traffic order and safety.
