On the afternoon of May 3, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Vice Chairman of Nha Trang City People's Committee said that he had established an interdisciplinary inspection team to verify the information of tourists posted on social networks about food invoices at a raft floating in Nha Trang Bay at "exorbitant" prices.
Previously, on Facebook, a post was circulating around Hai Dao seafood raft in Lang Chai in Bai Mieu (Nha Trang) with signs of ripping off.
Attached to the article is an image of the bill for the total amount of 2.78 million VND for the two guests for the dishes and drinks. Notably, box cattle: unit price 3.5 million VND/kg, 0.5 kg for 1.75 million VND.
In response to the feedback, Nha Trang City authorities have coordinated with the Nha Trang Bay Management Board and relevant agencies to inspect the activities at the above Hai Dao seafood raft.
Commenting on the selling price of box fish at 3.5 million VND/kg, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Vice Chairman of Nha Trang City People's Committee assessed that the selling price of the above seafood rafts is quite high compared to the selling price on land.
