On the morning of August 30, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Chairman of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee - confirmed that he had assigned functional agencies to urgently inspect the case of a child being scratched on the body by a classmate.
At about 7:30 am this morning, a working delegation of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee will come to the school to inspect, clarify the incident and handle it according to regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son said that after having the inspection results, functional agencies will provide information to the press.
Previously, a post by a parent named Van Quy appeared on social networks reflecting the incident of his daughter being scratched by a classmate at Cleverkid Bilingual Kindergarten on Le Chan Street (Nha Trang Ward).
Shared images show that the baby has many scratches on his face, hands, back and chest.
Parents expressed outrage, saying that the teachers had not fulfilled their responsibilities, lacked supervision, leading to the above incident.
According to Chairman of Nha Trang ward Nguyen Thanh Son, on the evening of August 29, the school worked with the family related to the incident.
Local authorities also requested the school to report the entire incident to the Nha Trang Ward People's Committee.
